Joe Biden was declared winner of the presidential election. There is a new tone in the country. Hopefully, there can be healing, an increase in competency at the federal level, and a recognition of the value that diverse people bring to our country.
Kamala Harris is Joe Biden’s vice-president and history making on several levels.
Hopefully, our country and political parties have learned that the character of our country’s leaders matter. A country’s policies fade in importance in the face of incompetency and serious character flaws in its leadership.

So needed this win to begin to heal my heart…still wounded because 70 million people still waive immorality, misogyny, racism, xenophobia, lying and childish bullying for the sake of party affiliation. But comforted that a sane person will inhabit the White House one day relatively soon.
