President influences my purchases

President Trump has had a positive influence on my reading habits, but I never thought he would influence my buying choices.

I’ve never been tempted by Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, Trump Ice Bottled Water, menswear, perfume, or deodorant. Nor was I ever persuaded to send urine samples to the Trump Network so they could customize my dietary supplements.  I never felt the need to further my education at the Trump University or fly on the short-lived Trump Airlines, but his persistent campaign emails finally wore me down.

When he started carrying a package of 10 disposable plastic Trump Straws at the astounding price of $15., I knew it was time to act.

I don’t use straws, but my mother needs several each day to drink beverages at meals and water throughout the day. I immediately went to an online vendor disliked by our President and ordered a package of 8 silicone and 2 reusable metal straws for $8.

Mother loves her new reusable straws, and I have the satisfaction of knowing that President Trump inspired me to reduce waste and take a small action to protect our environment. I don’t think he would approve.
