Betsy DeVos is an iconic representative of our president’s “best people.” Asked what evidence-based research supports her class size proposal she says, “Well, that must be in my written testimony.” I laughed to the point of tears, but the sad part is that she’s just the tip of the iceberg of incompetence now occupying important government positions. What great harm is being done!
The clearest testimony came from the guy over DeVos’s left shoulder!
I’m adding this video just to keep it close. It takes a little patience to hear, but the research that DeVos cites about how black children act differently than white is troubling at the least. Another example of iconic incompetence and of a bigoted underlying approach to life. Hmmm. Looks like it’s been removed.
