“The movie is much more interesting than the experiences I had,” said Adrian Cronauer in 1988. “Robin Williams is very funny. I’m not. Williams is the disc jockey I would have liked to be.” Adrian Cronauer was the DJ who inspired the movie, Good Morning Vietnam. He died July 19 at age 79.
